Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing and energetic Track & Field Coach to join our team! As a Track & Field Coach, you will design and lead age-appropriate practices and drills, offer guidance and mentorship, and assist with team administration. If you have a sports or coaching background and want to make a real difference in the lives of children, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Follow age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, skill development, and drills.
- Lead structured practices
- Provide positive feedback, guidance, and encouragement
- Individualize practices to suit each child’s abilities
- Communicate with parents/guardians
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Assist with all administrative matters relating to the team
Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching children/students is preferred
- Comfortable with speaking to and educating parents
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred but not required
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
